The 38 South Story.

38 South is a modern Regal 42’ Grande Coupe operating private charters on Lake Taupō, New Zealand, as part of Great Lake Adventures.

Fully certified to NZMSA standards for up to 12 passengers, 38 South is particularly well suited to groups of six to eight who want space, comfort and a more personalised experience on the water.

Charters can combine scenic cruising, trout fishing, cocktails, gourmet catering, swimming, paddleboarding and premium watersports. Choose a curated full-day or half-day package, or create a shorter private cruise around your group, occasion and interests.
